Steve,

You were more than a friend to me.

The love, admiration, and thirst for your presence that i feel in my heart will never diminish.

And i will carry my memories of you and your ways like a heavy bag of gold.

I don't know if you still have that sense of wonder where you are now . . . but i am sure that your feelings are total and complete.

Perhaps you are perched to spring forth into a new set of eyes to look in amazement once again upon this world and share your unique love with a new set of souls.

Or maybe, you will wait for us and greet us when we come home to you.

I look forward to sharing your presence again someday.

Goodbye my very special friend . . . i'm going to miss you like you wouldn't believe!
